Students who reside, work, or participate in internships in Wilmington may need transportation from UD’s Newark campus. The table below lists various transportation options for traveling between Newark and Wilmington.

SEPTA Train (Weekdays only)

  • To Wilmington: Five trains leave Newark in the morning (the first at 6:22 am and the last at 8:58 am).
    • Pick Up: Newark Train Station, STAR Campus
    • Drop Off: Wilmington Amtrak Station
    • Cost: ~$4 each way
    • Travel Time: 20 minutes

  • Travel Time: Express: <1 hour. Local lines: 1-2 hours

Taxi
