Adult and nontraditional learners’ portal to UD offers wide variety of programming
Fulfilling the University of Delaware’s vision through professional education, continuing studies and lifelong learning, UD’s Division of Professional and Continuing Studies (UD PCS) facilitated more than 22,000 credit, noncredit and Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) enrollments in 2019.
A breakdown of the overall enrollment numbers and a discussion of how UD PCS programs and services achieve the University’s vision of enhancing student success, building an environment of inclusive excellence, investing in intellectual and physical capital, strengthening interdisciplinary and global programs, and fostering a spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship are presented in the 2019 Impact Report.
“Learning does not stop after high school or college; it continues throughout one’s lifetime,” said George Irvine, interim associate vice provost for UD PCS. “Truly focused on lifelong learning, UD PCS is proud to serve local, national and global learners through our high-quality and workforce-relevant programs.”
