A scholarship initiative for dislocated workers

The University of Delaware Division of Professional and Continuing Studies (UD PCS) is offering a unique scholarship opportunity for individuals who are actively seeking employment after an involuntary job separation within the past six months.

The Professionals in Transition (PIT) program is designed to assist these job seekers by:

  • Transforming a challenging life event into a new opportunity: An unexpected job loss can lead to personal growth and transformation. The PIT program provides a pathway to a more fulfilling career.
  • Building a stronger skill set: Acquiring new skills enhances resumes and builds confidence. The PIT program offers the necessary tools to navigate the ever-changing job market and become a competitive candidate.
